Let’s be honest.
Motherhood is beautiful, but it can also be overwhelming.

Between diaper changes, school runs, laundry piles, and wondering if you even drank water today…
prayer can easily slip to the bottom of the list.

I know because I’ve been there.
And if I’m being real, I still find myself there sometimes.

Daily life moves fast. If I don’t pause and protect my quiet moments, everything else pulls me away from prayer.

I used to believe that prayer had to be long, quiet, and deep.
But most days, I didn’t even have time to think, let alone pray deeply.

Then one morning, before I even got out of bed, I whispered,
“Help me, Lord.”

That was it.
Just three small words. But somehow, they brought me peace.
It reminded me that God hears even the shortest prayers from the busiest hearts.

That one sentence became a habit.
And over time, it grew into a quiet rhythm in my day.

My prayer life didn’t just come back.
It became stronger.

All because I stopped aiming for perfect and just started showing up.

Here’s how you can build your own simple prayer routine too:

1. Start small
One sentence is enough.
“Thank You for this new day.”
“Jesus, I need You today.”

“Pray without ceasing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:17

2. Pray during the everyday moments
Talk to God while you cook, fold laundry, or cleaning the dishes.
He’s there in the small stuff too.

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:6

3. Write your prayers down
This changed everything for me.
Even short notes help you stay connected with God.

That’s why I created the Digital Prayer Journal for Moms.
It’s simple, beautiful, and made for real life.
No pressure, just presence.

4. Let your kids hear you pray
Even a short, “Jesus, help us have a good day” plants seeds in their hearts.

“Train up a child in the way he should go…” – Proverbs 22:6

5. Give yourself grace
You don’t need fancy words.
You just need a willing heart.

“The Lord is near to all who call on Him…” – Psalm 145:18

Friend, you don’t need the perfect moment to pray.

You just need to begin.

Start today. Start small.
And if you want a little help staying consistent, grab the Digital Prayer Journal I made just for moms like you.

Because even when life is loud, God is still listening.
